CARTONS

Mixed paper, newspapers, paper grocery bags, magazines, wrapping paper, milk and juice cartons, and flattened cardboard should all be recycled. Try to keep paper out of the rain so that the paper stays dry.

Don't worry about the plastic spout, but the lid should be removed and discarded. It is very small and would probably fall through the machines at the recycling facility anyway.
